1. Why create MyOnlineShops?

I wanted a list of shops that was easy to navigate, where shops could be rated and commented on, where I could have a list of favourite shops, and where I could find coupons to use online, and focussed on Australian shops.

I couldn't find one, so I built it myself. I'm just an Aussie mum who likes saving time and money by shopping online. And building websites.

2. How do I find a particular shop?

You can use the search box.
Or select a category from the left menu.
Or select from the "category cloud" on the home page.
Or browse through "All Shops".
Or select from My Favourites.
Or select from Coupons.
You can sort your list of shops by rating if you like.

3. How do I buy things?

Once you've visited a shop, buy stuff as usual.
Each shop is an individual entity, with it's own shipping and payment systems.
You can't add items from one shop to your cart in another shop.

4. How do I pay?

Most Australian shops offer the major credit cards.
They may offer other alternatives, but it depends on the shop.

5. When will it arrive?

Check the shipping and delivery times on the shop.

6. What if it doesn't arrive, or I need to return it?

Contact the individual shop directly.

7. What if there are still problems?

We can send emails to them, to emphasise the severity of your problem.
We can remove them from MyOnlineShops.
The best way you can help is by providing comments on your experience, so that others know what to be aware of.

8. What else can I do on the site?

Check if there are any competitions you would like to enter.
If you're a member (it's free) .....
- You can have your own blog, of your shopping experiences, with your own avatar.
- You can offer tips and advice and stories in the forum.
- You can create Polls.
- You can make suggestions on other ways I can improve the site.

9. How do I get my site listed?

Use the Contact page to send me details.
Make sure your site has a privacy page, terms and conditions, contact details, shipping and delivery information, and most importantly, uses secure payment processing. 
I'd love a link back from your site though.

10. How do I add a Coupon?

Make sure that you find out the terms and conditions for the coupon.
You have to be a member of MyOnlineShops, and logged in.
Click on Create Content, at the bottom of the left menu.
Then Click on Coupon.
Fill in the details, as per the example, and hit Save.
